The wide-field images piggyback presented on this page were all taken on one very humid but transparent night in September, 2000, using a pair of Nikon Fs mounted atop a manually-guided classic orange C-8. Because of continuous cloudy conditions during no-Moon weekends, they represent the only astrophoto results I achieved for the summer of 2000. Both Kodak E200 and PJ400 35 mm film were used with normal processing. No light polution or halo reducing filters were used. The films did suffer some degree of creep because of high humidity, causeing the star images at the edges of some images to smear. The resulting slides and negatives were then scanned with an early model HP PhotoSmart scanner. Image processing was done with Photoshop 5.0. These images are from single negatives or slides. No multiple image stacking was done.
