The story begins
✦ The beginning
I've always seen the world
a little differently
Some children are afraid of the dark. I was busy watching sparkles of light drift around the people near me. Over time, those sparkles became shapes, and eventually I understood them as angels. To me, they felt completely natural.
I was an intuitive child too. I'd know things before they happened or sense that someone was hurting even while they smiled. I was ten when Mum brought home my first crystal, and the moment I held it I could feel something humming in my hand. I didn't have language for any of this yet. I simply knew there was more to the world than what I could see.
✦ The years I tried to hide it
For a long time,
I thought I had to hide it
Being sensitive meant I noticed a lot. I could walk into a room and feel the mood before anyone said a word, or know that someone wasn't really fine even while they smiled.
As a child, I didn't always know what to do with that. At school, being different made me a target, and I was bullied for a good chunk of those years. Even in some of the healing circles where I thought I'd finally fit in, there were people who found my gifts a little too unusual.
So, like a lot of sensitive people, I learned to make myself smaller for a while.
I was lucky to have parents who believed me. They never made me feel as though the things I was seeing or sensing were something to be ashamed of, even when I was still figuring out what they meant myself.
Eventually I realised I didn't need to become less sensitive. I needed to understand my sensitivity better.
That lesson has stayed with me. It's one of the reasons I now teach people how to understand what they're feeling, clear what they've picked up from others, strengthen their own energy and trust what they know.
✦ The turning point
I stopped putting healing
into boxes
I've honestly never done anything else.
I became a Reiki Master at sixteen, between maths homework and final exams, and I was giving readings while my friends were still working out what they wanted to be.
Later I trained as a naturopath and opened my own clinic. I made a little flyer that asked one very simple question:
The original flyer from my naturopathic clinic, more than twenty years ago.
At first, I kept trying to divide my clients into two groups. Some came to me for physical health, while others came for spiritual or energetic work.
Eventually, I stopped trying to separate them. I simply gave each person what I felt they needed, and within a year my clinic had tripled.
More importantly, it changed the way I understood healing. I often explain it with something as ordinary as a shower.
Look at the shower head and you'll see lots of individual streams of water. They look separate, and we can give each one a different name. One might be Reiki. Another might be crystals. Another might be angel healing or meditation.
But trace those streams back and they're all being fed by the same pipe. To me, healing is much the same. The methods may look different and have different names, but underneath them is the same intention and the same source.
Different methods. Same source.
That doesn't mean every method does exactly the same thing, or that every person needs the same kind of support. It simply means I stopped getting too caught up in which box something belonged in and became much more interested in what might genuinely help the person in front of me.
Your physical health, emotions, energy and spiritual connection don't live in completely separate worlds either. One can affect another, which is why I've always found it more useful to look at the whole person.
That understanding has stayed underneath everything I've done since. The way I work has changed, from a busy naturopathic clinic to books, courses, meditations, readings and teaching students around the world, but the intention hasn't changed very much at all.
I want the work to help you feel better, understand yourself more clearly and leave with something you can actually use in your life.
Angels have been beside me through all of it too. I've never seen them as separate from the healing work. They are simply another way that healing can come through.
Teaching and sharing this work around the world.
✦ Where I am now
Teaching became the way
the healing travelled further
As the clinic grew, so did the teaching.
I loved working one-to-one with people, but I also discovered how much I loved teaching. Give me a complicated healing or spiritual idea and I'm happiest when I can make it simple enough that someone thinks, Oh. Now I get it.
At twenty-five, my first book was published. More books followed, along with an oracle deck, workshops, courses and teaching around the world.

Over time, teaching became one of the main ways I could take the healing work further. I created courses, meditations and professional certification programs, including Flower Therapy Healer Certification, which has trained thousands of students around the world.
That work eventually grew into the Academy of Spiritual Development, bringing together healing, intuition, spiritual development and the practical tools I've spent more than twenty years exploring and teaching.
These days I can sit at home in Australia, teach a class or record a meditation, and someone on the other side of the world can experience it that same day. I still find that pretty amazing.
Today I'm a spiritual teacher, a healer, and still very much a friend to the angels.
✦ Where you might fit
What are you looking for
right now?
There isn't one right way into this work. What matters is what you need right now.
Feel better
Find support for healing, meditation, spiritual connection, greater clarity, and practical ways to work with your energy and intuition in everyday life.
Awaken your gifts
Explore your intuition and healing abilities more deeply, with strong foundations for your own growth or, if you feel called to it, to help others professionally.
You don't need to know exactly where you fit before you begin. Sometimes one path simply opens naturally into the other.
✦ The question I still ask
Do you want to feel better?
That little clinic flyer asked the question more than twenty years ago, and after everything that has happened since, it is still the simplest way I know to describe the heart of my work.
Whether you're here to heal, understand yourself more clearly, strengthen your intuition or explore your own gifts, I want you to leave with something that genuinely helps.
If you're new here, my friend, a meditation is a lovely place to begin.
